Orgasms

To my knowledge, and I'm under the impression I'd know, I've never had an orgasm. I've gotten really horny, done plenty of masturbating, tried a wide variety of things, but never had that crest and release I've heard and read described.

For me, my masturbation sessions usually end up being more like those short stories they'd make you read in school that all seemed to establish an interesting premise in a particularly downbeat way, raise the tension to the breaking point, and then just stop on a cliffhanger. I learned a lot of bad writing habits from these models of "good writing" that I've had trouble unlearning--like that even your "serious" works should still have a falling action and resolution, and not just stop after a reveal that re-contextualizes everything before, or something. Stopping the rollercoaster at the top of the hill while you stare down the drop in anticipation isn't actually a very satisfying ride. And it's been how my masturbation sessions have gone.
