Group Anthrax

When a wave of blue light traversed the globe, the first thought of many was that it was an attack of some sort. But when the results were stranger than any attack, individuals would need to band together as they themselves, and the world, changed.

So this was the first comic with an actual storyline I tried to produce. I posted it from November 2005 to May 2009. One time, someone told me that people called our high school friend group "Group Anthrax" because "The entire school could get anthrax, and we would keep laughing and joking." I loved that idea, and stole the name for this comic...which was meant to be about a group of friends banding together in the face of worldwide transformations. Eh, we almost sorta got there.

Yup. Comic could have easily started at the last panel of the previous page. Nothing of value would have been lost!

It may be harder for me to enjoy going through this comic than it was for me to go through Tsuki's Shorts. I worked on this a lot longer, and it really mattered to me. The main reason it didn't work out was that I kept trying to go back and re-write, and re-draw, and re-develop. Actually, the major breaks in the three different versions of the comic happens the next page. I'll be showing all three versions of the comic on the same webpage, in a sort-of weird "Choose Your Own Adventure"-almost thing.

Also: I get to be the first person to say that I just keep writing the same damn story, and that New Normal is just a re-tread of the same ideas and themes. THERE! BEAT YOU TO IT!
