EXPERIMENTING WITH LIGHTING, YEAH. And also backgrounds. Used Illustrator's perspective tool to do the floor (made a big old dealie of floorboard rectangles, then popped them into the perspective tool to get them to lay like a floor), and utilized the power of CLIPPING MASKS to set up the top two panels. I'm gonna have to use those more, it was awesome! Hmm...wonder how it'd look to do a more natural floor and toss it in the perspective tool...?
