Chapter 1, Page 8

'Bout time, right! 'Nother two pages today, cuz...well, cuz I scanned them and put in the dialogue just now. Mrf. By the way, migraines suck major ass.

So, I originally penciled this on the train from Carbondale up to Chicago...heh, one of the two trips in as many weeks, or whatever I did that month...long story. Anyway, as you can see at the top of the page, that was February...February 19th to be exact. Haha, I love Knuckles in this page. He turned out so fun. Ki, on that second panel tho', had to be re-drawn over and over again. She kept looking either stoned or evil, rather than simply incredulous.

So, rather than color this on the computer this go 'round, these two pages are done in marker and colored pencil--I really like how it turned out...more in person than in the scans, though. It's always frustrating what happens to a picture when you scan it. The subtleties and vibrancy of the color gets diminished, it's real annoying. But yeah, that's really all I have to say on this one at this point.
